Health and work: Keeping yourself healthy and safe

A person usually spends a lot of time in the workplace and therefore
it is necessary to implement the appropriate conditions
to ensure protection and preventive measures,
adopted by both the employer and the workers themselves.
Furthermore, many scientific studies have demonstrated the importance
of prevention and health promotion to reduce the incidence
of diseases and mortality and consequently the costs for the National Health
Service (NHS) and for society and also to favor the maintenance
of well-being and quality of life. In this workshop you will learn about
the legislation on safety at work and what the indications are in case of illness.
Topics regarding the importance of prevention and the promotion
of a healthy lifestyle will also be addressed.

It is not always easy to find a job, which is why it is important to understand develop an effective method in seeking an adequate occupation using the right tools. Often for foreigners there may be greater difficulties due to lack of knowledge of the Italian context, documents or other reasons. In this workshop we will illustrate how to prepare a resume and where to search for job offers. We will also talk about some particular services that are offered like employment centers and professional training.
