Arabic language course for adults
What is it
The course is organized and managed by Good World Citizen at the Regional Intercultural Center “Gli Anelli Mancanti.” The project includes biweekly meetings with a native speaker teacher.
Objectives
Studying a language facilitates communication and understanding between different cultures. Many people working in education and the social area are particularly interested in learning Arabic, as many foreigners living in Italy come from Arab countries.
The program includes linguistic objectives in the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), as well as cultural objectives focusing on understanding the culture of the Arab World.
Program
A basic-level Arabic language course for adults consists of two modules: the first module focuses on learning the Arabic alphabet, writing system, vocabulary, and basic dialogues; the second module explores some aspects of Arabic grammar.
