Caterina was born in Florence, Italy to an Italian father and a Russian mother, she is bilingual and holds dual citizenship. Caterina started thinking about her cultural identity since a very young age realizing that she is the sum of her belongings and so she learned not to fear being different but to appreciate the diversity in herself and in others. She has always had many interests and has a passion for arts and sports from different cultures. She works as an interpreter because in order express the thoughts of others through her language she needs to consider the different points of view, a process through which she always learns something new.
