The Musical Richness of the Mediterranean

On the occasion of International Mediterranean Day, the Good World Citizen (GWC) organisation, in collaboration with the Bruno Bartoletti School of Music in Sesto Fiorentino, organised a concert dedicated to celebrating the cultural and musical richness of the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

The event was a true musical journey through diverse traditions, styles, and languages, capable of recounting the history and identity of Mediterranean peoples. Music thus becomes a tool for encounter and dialogue, capable of transcending geographical and cultural boundaries, fostering mutual understanding and respect for diversity.

The concert offered the audience an engaging and inclusive experience, highlighting the Mediterranean not only as a geographical space, but as a symbolic place of exchange, cross-contamination, and coexistence between cultures, where music represents a shared heritage and a powerful means of expression and communication.
