Exchange and openness
Access to information is one of the key tools for people's self-determination and independence. Interculturalism means opening our minds to become global citizens, it means outlining a plan for mutual encounter and exchange, in which we value the resources of each individual as the holder of significant cultural baggage. Quoting the philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer “Culture is the only asset of humanity that, when shared among all, grows rather than diminishes.”
Knowledge and respect
Information has become increasingly important in today’s society, which is characterized by ever greater global interconnection and the presence of different cultures within the same social contexts. Intercultural awareness, knowledge, and skills are essential for raising awareness of diversity and newness, promoting social cohesion, dialogue, and mutual understanding between people from different backgrounds, and preventing stereotypes and prejudices. This is why we organize events aimed at raising awareness of cultural diversity by presenting the richness of different cultures and promoting exchange, understanding, and mutual respect.
