Founder of GWC. Haifa is a multilingual global citizen who truly believes that good communication is the way forward to building a stronger and happier global community. She is committed to building bridges with everyone to work together as “good world citizens”, each in their own way and according to their abilities. She is an expert in education with a PhD in intercultural pedagogy and also has a background in science.

Caterina was born in Florence, Italy, to an Italian father and Russian mother. Bilingual and with dual citizenship, she began to think about her cultural identity at an early age, discovering that she was ultimately a sum of her affiliations and learning not to fear being different, but rather to appreciate diversity in herself and others. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Cultural Heritage Studiesand has always had wide-ranging interests, cultivating artistic and sporting disciplines from different cultures. Caterina chose the profession of translator because, in searching for the words to give voice to the thoughts of others in her own language, she has to consider different points of view and always learns something new.

Vito was born in Florence, where he lives. He is a cardiologist and head of department at the Fanfani Clinical Research Institute, where he mainly deals with clinical and instrumental cardiology. He supports causes related to the environment and animal welfare. Vito is passionate about painting, reading and poetry, which he also writes.

Nicola was born in the province of Brescia, but was adopted by the city of Milan, where he graduated in Aerospace Engineering and where he works as a project manager in a local company. His interests go far beyond engineering: he is passionate about history, photography, design and architecture. He is a firm supporter of the fight against all forms of discrimination and in favour of the environment. He is extremely fascinated by the study of languages and other cultures, and loves to travel to discover new landscapes, new traditions and new dishes!

Nadia has a degree in law and a master's degree in human rights and conflict management. Her studies stem from her passion for protecting women and migrants and promoting a more inclusive and integrated society. Her goal is to improve, one small step at a time, the environment in which she lives locally , but also at national and international levels. Her multicultural identity, Italian European with Arab origins, means that she embodies the figure of the citizen of the world, striving to evolve into the good citizen of the world that all of us in the organisation aspire to be!
